18 WHEELER OVERTURNS IN CRASH ON I-10

An 18-wheeler overturned and crashed with a truck on Interstate 10 in Santa Rosa County earlier today. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 18-wheeler was in the outside lane heading east on I-10 near mile marker 21, with the truck directly behind it. The 18-wheeler went into the grass, and when the driver tried to get back onto the road, he overcorrected, causing the vehicle to turn over on its passenger side. Meanwhile, the truck that was behind the 18-wheeler tried to swerve into the inside lane to avoid crashing, but ended up hitting the 18-wheeler. After crashing, the truck went across the lanes and ended up on the emergency shoulder of the road. The driver of the 18-wheeler received minor injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured.
