A block of 12th Avenue in East Hill reopens by the end of the month after safety upgrades tied to Sacred Heart Cathedral School's expansion. Director of Operations Kent Criddle with Morette Company says the project added 12 new streetlights and a raised crosswalk to make crossing the busy street safer. The road work is part of an $8 million project that also includes new classrooms to accommodate about 100 more students.
