For most of us, the mission at Corry Station is a bit unclear, and that’s understandable since the work on secretive things. This is evident even from the name of one of their operations, the “Center for Information Warfare Training” or (CIWT). But this morning, we had a chance to peek behind the curtain a bit and talk with the CIWT Commanding Officer Captain Nick “Eddie” Andrews about the work his team does training the next generation of information specialists, cryptologists, and cyber warriors. Andrews also talked about the recently unveiled Modular Sensitive Compartmented Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF), and why it’s so significant for the work being done at CIWT.
