WESTBOUND SIDE OF 3 MILE BRIDGE COULD OPEN SOON — David Wayne
Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) — The new westbound side of the Pensacola Bay Bridge could be opening within the next few months. A report by the PNJ today says FDOT plans to open the new span of the bridge in either January or February. FDOT’s Ian Satter says he doesn’t have a specific date that the bridge will open though — they are still finishing up a few things before traffic can begin flowing on the new portion of the bridge.
