WALTON COUNTY GETTING NEW LIFE-FLIGHT HELICOPTER — David Wayne
Walton County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) — Walton County will soon have a new medical transport helicopter. The Walton County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the Air Methods Corporation to get a Bell 407 helicopter. The sheriff’s office says it will allow for rapid response to traumatic injuries and reduce long transport times. The county says the new helicopter should be up and running by this April.
