AREA TEAMS WIN IN UNDERWATER ROBOTICS CHALLENGE — David Wayne
Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) — Two underwater robotics teams from schools here in Pensacola took first place in competitions over the weekend. The contests involved marine renewable energy, monitoring water quality, and ecosystem health, and they competed in three different challenge classes. The teams were “Aquabotix” from Tyndall Academy, who took first place in the Navigator Challenge Class, and “Crubotics” from Pensacola Catholic High School, who took first in the Range Challenge Class. There were 20 teams from three different states represented in the contest.
