TWO ARRESTED AS DEPUTIES SEIZE DRUGS FROM ESCAMBIA RED ROOF INN — Steve Taylor
Pensacola, FL (NewsRadio 92-3) — Two people were arrested on drug charges after deputies found meth, fentanyl, and more inside a room at a Red Roof Inn in Escambia County. The incident happened yesterday (Wednesday) as Escambia County deputies went to the Red Roof Inn on New Warrington Road to arrest 40-year-old Charles Dale for outstanding warrants. After locating Dale, deputies searched his room and found fentanyl, meth, and various other drugs. The report states that 23-year-old Sydney Shelby was also in the room. Deputies searched her and found she also had Meth, fentanyl, and other drugs. Deputies noted that a total of 21.56 grams of fentanyl was seized along with 40.41 grams of methamphetamine from the pair. Dale is being held in jail on no bond, while Shelby is being held in jail on $8,000 bond.
