TRIUMPH GULF COAST APPROVES $8.5M GRANT FOR PORT OF PENSACOLA — Steve Taylor
Pensacola, FL (NewsRadio 92-3) Triumph Gulf Coast approved an $8.5 million grant for the Port of Pensacola, which will be used to design, renovate, and complete Warehouse 10. Renovations would include a 50-foot addition, along with the design and construction of a dock and boat ramp. The city is also pursuing another $5.4 million from the Governor’s Job Growth Grant Fund and the Seaport Transportation Economic Development Program. City leaders say the permanent relocation of the world-famous sailing team would create 170 local high-paying jobs. The team has used the port as a temporary, seasonal training site since 2018.
