THREE-MILE BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION SLOWDOWN POSTPONED TO WEDNESDAY — Steve Taylor
Pensacola FL (NewsRadio 92-3) — If you were planning to avoid the three-mile bridge this afternoon because of the anticipated slowdowns from today’s planned demotion of a submerged pier from the old bridge that could cause slowdowns on the bridge, Florida Department of Transportation spokesman Ian Satter tells NewsRadio that the demolition is postponed until Wednesday around the same time. On Wednesday, Traffic won’t be completely blocked but will be slowed down as that work happens between 2 pm and 3 pm.
