THREE HOSPITALIZED AFTER PENSACOLA BEACH RESCUE–Steve Taylor
Pensacola Beach, FL (NewsRadio 92-3) — Three adults are hospitalized following a water rescue earlier this (Friday) afternoon on Pensacola Beach around 12:30 pm. According to Escambia County, two adults were flown to the hospital by helicopter. Two additional patients, one child, and one adult, were then treated on scene before the adult was transported to the hospital by ambulance. The county says following the incident, Lifeguards switched to red flags due to the increasingly rough waters and high risk of rip currents.No further details have been released.
