NewsRadio92.3 ▪ AM 1620 is locally owned by Dave and Mary Hoxeng, of ADX Communications of Escambia County. ADX is also the parent company of CatCountry98.7, ESPNPensacola 99.1, Pensacola’s Playlist 94.5 and ADX Digital.
Dave and Mary launched CatCountry98.7 in 2005, followed by NewsRadio1620 AM in 2007. In 2016, NewsRadio1620 began simulcasting on FM at 92.3 and in 2021 on 95.3.
NewsRadio92.3 ▪ AM 1620 is Pensacola’s Fox Radio News affiliate. Fox Radio News airs every 30 minutes 24/7. Also, local news every 30 minutes 5am-9:30pm Monday-Friday and whenever news breaks.
Programming includes nine hours of local talk every day Monday-Friday with Andrew McKay, Genna Barr and Bobby Rossi. Syndicated national hosts include Brian Kilmeade and Dave Ramsey.
