SOCIAL MEDIA SCHOOL THREAT NOT CREDIBLE — Steve Taylor
(Pensacola, FL (NewsRadio 92-3) — Some of you might have heard there’s a school threat, circulating via social media. Late yesterday evening, Escambia County Public Schools officials were made aware of the social media threat. District administration and law enforcement worked together to make sure this was not a credible threat to Escambia schools, students, and staff. As it happens, this same social media threat was made in several districts across the state. Escambia County Public Schools are encouraging parents and guardians to diligently monitor their students’ social media accounts. And they encourage students to report any suspicious or dangerous online activity to the nearest responsible adult.
