Woman Charged with Animal Cruelty for Not Feeding Horses

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- An Alabama woman is accused of mistreating her horses -- one of which had to be euthanized last year. The horses were being kept in a fenced-in yard in northern Escambia County when deputies were called to check on them in September of last year. Animal control said in a report that the horses hadn't been fed, and there was no grazable land in their fenced-in area. The water trough was also empty. Hall was arrested earlier this month and has been released on a 15-thousand dollar bond. A judge has ordered that Hall cannot own any animals as she awaits trial on the charges.
