Woman arrested in Escambia County homicide investigation

Escambia County Sheriff's Office deputies have arrested a woman in connection with a homicide that occurred in August, according to officials. Ashanti Brown, 23, faces charges of homicide and tampering with evidence in the case.

The arrest follows an investigation by ECSO into the August homicide. Few additional details about the circumstances of the death or the investigation have been released at this time.
