(Pensacola, FL) -- A University of West Florida professor is getting help in his search for more information on Alzheimer's. UWF announced yesterday that biology professor Dr. Rodney Guttmann was awarded a grant from the National Institute of Health. The school says this will allow Guttmann and his students to continue their cutting edge research into blood based biomarkers for the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's. Guttmann hopes his research will lead to earlier and more accurate diagnoses that could lead to better patient outcomes.
