Two Navy Pilots Hurt After Training Helicopter Tips Over During Takeoff

Santa Rosa County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Two Navy pilots were taken to the hospital after a helicopter accident at NAS Whiting Field last week. Public Affairs Director Jamie Coffey says a TH-57 helicopter tipped onto its side while trying to leave a runway last Friday afternoon. The two pilots were reportedly conscious and responsive after the accident. Both were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
