Suspect Found Dead During Warrant Attempt In Sheppard Murder Case

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- There's a major update in the downtown Fourth of July shooting that killed P-J Sheppard. Police, the State Attorney's Office and U-S Marshals attempted to serve a murder warrant at Truman Arms in Pensacola. Before officers could enter, shots were fired inside the apartment — none from police. When officers went in, they found the suspect dead. No officers were hurt. The suspect's name will be released once family has been notified.
