Senator Rick Scott Files Bill to Ban Chinese Drones

(Washington, DC) -- Rick Scott is proposing a new way to address what he calls a severe national security risk. Senator Scott announced a new bill yesterday called the Drones for America Act. It would raise tariffs on Chinese-manufactured drone systems and components. Scott says the tariff revenue will fund a grant program to support US-manufactured drones and components. By 2031, the tariffs will be replaced with bans. Scott says Communist China is our adversary, and this bill will stop fueling their ambitions for global domination.
