SALES TAX HOLIDAY IN FLORIDA UNDERWAY

Back-to-school supplies will be tax-free in Florida for 14 days starting today. It's part of a sales tax holiday passed by the Florida Legislature and signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis as part of the state's budget. Items that will be exempt from the sales tax through August 11th include most school supplies selling for 50 dollars or less, clothing, footwear and accessories selling for no more than 100 dollars, and non-commercial and personal-use computers and accessories selling for up to 15-hundred dollars. The list of eligible items can be found at Florida-Revenue-dot-com-slash-Back-to-School.
