POSSIBLE DUI OFFICER INVOLVED CRASH

Pensacola Police are investigating a possible DUI crash after a car hit a PPD cruiser early this morning. It happened on Bayou Boulevard near Buffalo Wild Wings and the AMC theatre. Police say the officer was in the turning lane when a vehicle heading in the opposite direction swerved across the road and hit the cruiser. PPD says the officer involved was taken to the hospital with a possible knee injury. The driver is now being investigated for a possible DUI.
