ORANGE BEACH MURDER-SUICIDE INVOLVED ALABAMA DEPUTY, DISPATCH EMPLOYEE

Investigators in Orange Beach say two employees of the Cullman County Sheriff's Office are dead following an apparent murder-suicide. The incident happened at around 2:45 yesterday morning near the Phoenix West condos on Perdido Beach Blvd. The Cullman County Sheriff's Office says that Deputy Kenneth Booth shot and killed his girlfriend Alexis White in an argument, and then turned the gun on himself. White worked as a dispatcher and initially joined the sheriff's office when she was 16 years old.
