News Sportsplex Proposed for Bellview

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A new sportsplex is in the works for Bellview. Developers want to provide facilities for baseball, basketball, and softball. The plan includes two 15,000-square-foot buildings on a 2.4-acre site off Mobile Highway, complete with batting cages, basketball courts, office space, and accessible restrooms. The proposal was filed recently, but it hasn’t been reviewed yet by the county's Development Review Committee. The land is currently owned by a local businessman who purchased it last year.
