NASA ASTRONAUT UNDER OBSERVATION IN LOCAL HOSPITAL AFTER SPLASHDOWN

After more than 200 days in space, four astronauts splashed down off the Pensacola coast at 2:29 this morning. But, one of the SpaceX astronauts in Crew-8 is still at Sacred Heart Hospital; the three others have returned to Houston. A NASA release stated that "After safely splashing down, a NASA astronaut experienced a medical issue. The astronauts were flown together to Ascension Sacred Heart. After medical evaluation at the hospital, three of the crew members departed Pensacola and arrived at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston.One astronaut is in stable condition and under observation as a precautionary measure, according to the release. To protect the crew member's medical privacy, specific details on the individual's condition or identity will not be shared. Routine medical checkups followed a successful Friday morning splashdown in Pensacola, the organization reported.
