An inmate in the Santa Rosa County jail reportedly tried to escape last night. Sheriff Bob Johnson says he takes pride in the "Milton Hilton" and hates to see someone trying to leave early. The entire incident was caught on camera by correctional officers. Johnson says the inmate was "not exactly a rocket scientist" and now faces additional charges for the attempted jailbreak.
