Funeral arrangements have been announced for Santa Rosa County Sheriff Sgt. James Conkell. He died last Thursday at the age of 46 after an illness. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Saturday at Pace Assembly of God followed by a 12:00 pm service. Following the service, a law enforcement escort will travel to Bagdad Mill Site Park for final honors. Residents are advised to expect delays during the escort.
