Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) --Pensacola officials are exploring plans to convert the historic Alice S. Williams Library into a child care center. The city’s redevelopment agency has approved an $800,000 restoration project for the building, which has been unused since 2006. According to the PNJ, city leaders anticipate a final decision on the building's future use by the end of the year, with potential completion of the project by September if bids are received by May.
