Century will be closing Ivey Street Saturday, March 23rd -- the town council voted to approve a request from the Odom Bar to close the road for a midget wrestling event. The town is charging the bar for the overtime cost of an employee to set up and tear down the barricades. The bar reportedly made the request for the road closure, but never told the town what type of event they were planning before the council voted. The bar and event promoter have since made online posts advertising the "Little Mania Micro Wrestling" event for that date.
