We're learning more about the shooting that occurred in Cantonment over the weekend. It happened on Sheppard Street Sunday night -- Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons says investigators don't believe the woman who was shot was the intended target. Simmons tells Newsradio that as they were backing out of the driveway another vehicle pulled up and fired several rounds into the car. Investigators are looking into whether the shooting was connected to a previous shooting last August near the same home. In that incident, he says another woman was also shot mistakenly. Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff's office or Crime Stoppers.
