Could this be the way to end the Grafitti Bridge versus truck conflict?
Next week the Pensacola City Council will decide whether to fund an overhead arm warning system for large trucks that may otherwise get lodged underneath the iconic Graffiti Bridge. Mayor DC Reeves has been working on the warning system for months now. He says people have been waiting for a technical description of the system…which he describes as “an arm with chimes on it.” Reeves discussed his plan on Pensacola’s Morning News. He says if the funding is approved by the council, they’ll begin installation soon after.
