Whiting Field has been named recipient of the 2021 Installation Excellence Award, and under Bowdich’s tenure this is the second such award.  Additionally Bowdich was in command during the final transfer of OLF8 to Escambia County and the acquisition of the OLFX site in Santa Rosa County.
