Chief Simmons joins the Pensacola Morning News to discuss a number of arrests during the last week, including James Blackmon, who is accused of killing his son and attempted to murder his son’s girlfriend, the ECSO reminding those on social media to please lock their car doors at night, the addition of Tommi Lyter as his new Chief Deputy of Operations and will Chief Simmons bring over any other PPD employees, the ECSO participation in the Beulah Christmas Parade, and the annual Shop-With-A-Cop event taking place recently.
