Local civil rights activist and former police officer, Ellison Bennett joins the Pensacola Morning News to discuss Pensacola’s handle of the death of George Floyd, a black man that died while in the custody of a white police officer who pressed his knee on Floyd’s neck for eight minutes, while lead to the death of Floyd. Bennett discusses how violence will never be the answer as a result of a black man dying
