Commander (retired) Frank “Walleye” Weisser was twice on the Blue Angels and helped with the transition to the Super Hornet for the team, but he was also the guy who actually flew the low altitude scenes for the  movie Top Gun Maverick, and we talked about the experience of making the movie and its value to the Naval aviator community.
