Local citizens are being priced out of the home market. The influx of the wealthy is completely re-shaping the small community vibe that this area has traditionally enjoyed. Along with the sharp rise in home prices goes the equally sharp rise in property tax. Average Joe, already struggling to pay his property taxes, is now thinking he won’t be able to retire in the same place where his parents, grand parents and great grand parents lived, worked and retired.

And there is little hope that his kids can stay here too.
