Pensacola Plans $150,000 Overhang Project At Grafitti Bridge — Steve Taylor
Pensacola, FL (NewsRadio 92-3) — After countless collisions over the years between trucks and Graffiti Bridge in Pensacola, the city wants to develop a warning system for drivers who travel under the bridge on 17th Avenue. The City of Pensacola is now considering a $150,000 plan to build an overhang across the road, with chains and chimes hanging from it. It would let truck drivers know that if they hit the chimes, they’d hit the bridge ahead. If approved, the project would be paid for through the city’s reserve funds.
