FATAL ACCIDENT AT AIRPORT BLVD — David Wayne
Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) — The driver of the pickup truck that hit and killed a Pensacola Christian College student on Airport Boulevard yesterday is being charged with DUI manslaughter. The Florida Highway Patrol arrested 59-year-old Oscar Martin last night. The PCC student was reportedly cleaning up trash around a college facility when Martin’s truck veered off the road and hit him. The student died before they got to the hospital. Martin was booked into the Escambia County jail last night, where he’s being held without bond.
