ONE PERSON INJURED IN EARLY MORNING FIRE — Steve Taylor
Pensacola, FL (NewsRadio 92-3) — One person was taken to the hospital following a house fire in Escambia County early this (Tuesday) Morning. According to Escambia County Fire Rescue, firefighters responded to a home located on the 10-block of Hatton Street around 5:15 am. When they arrived, firefighters saw smoke and flames coming from the rear. Firefighters immediately took action and were able to limit the damage to just the rear of the home, bringing the fire under control by 5:35 am. One occupant of the home was taken to the hospital while all other displaced occupants were assisted by the American Red Cross. The Pensacola Fire Department also provided assistance.
