SCHOOL BUS CRASH — David Wayne
Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) — There were no injuries yesterday when an Escambia County school bus with sixty kids on board pulled out in front of a speeding car on Highway 29. It happened at the intersection with Archer Road. According to FHP, the bus didn’t yield to traffic while making a left turn and was hit by a vehicle being driven by a 19-year-old Pensacola man. Troopers say the car was ‘travelling at a high-rate of speed’ when it hit the bus. Luckily, none of the 60 kids on the bus were hurt. The driver of the sedan was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
