NEW EVIDENCE SHOWS PACE WOMAN WAS DRIVING WRONG WAY IN FATAL I-110 CRASH — Steve Taylor

Pensacola, FL (NewsRadio 92-3) — There’s new evidence from the Florida Highway Patrol that strongly suggests that in last Saturday’s fatal wrong-way crash on I-110, the female driver was at fault. It was originally reported last weekend that, according to FHP, a Pensacola man was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes when his vehicle hit a Pace woman’s vehicle as she was driving south near the southbound Exit 2 Cervantes Street ramp. The Pensacola man was pronounced dead at the hospital, while the Pace woman was hospitalized with serious injuries. The FHP is now saying that, after continued investigation, it appears the Pace woman was actually traveling in the wrong direction, not the Pensacola man. The investigation is ongoing and it’s possible that the Pace woman could receive charges after all evidence is gathered and reviewed. No further details were released.
