AMTRAK TRAIN HITS CAR IN MOBILE — David Wayne
One person was killed when a car was hit by an Amtrak train in Mobile last night. Police say 28-year-old Chadwick Timmons tried to go through a crossing despite the safety arms being down and the lights flashing. His car was hit by the Amtrak train — which then caught on fire. There were no reports of injuries from anyone on the train.
