ACTIVIST ALLEGEDLY HITS WORKER WITH TRUCK — David Wayne
A local environmental activist is accused of hitting a man with her truck. Dr. Gloria Horning was arrested this week — an arrest report says she hit a man that was cleaning a neighbor’s driveway. According to the report, Dr. Horning approached a laborer that was cleaning a neighbor’s driveway and told him to move so she could park her vehicle…he reportedly refused and said he was working.
Dr. Horning is accused of telling the worker she knew how to make him move, then bumping into him with the truck. The worker wasn’t hurt but wanted to press charges. Horning was booked into the Escambia County jail and released on $1-thousand dollars bond on Monday.
