LITTLE LEAGUE TREASURER CHARGED WITH MISAPPROPRIATING FUNDS
The treasurer of a local little league organization, and teacher at Northview High School, has been accused of misusing over $16,000 in funds. According to Channel 3, Paula Pugh is treasurer and bookkeeper for the Northwest Escambia Little League. She’s accused of using the funds for personal use between July 26th of 2021 and December 9th 2022. Investigators say they uncovered 43 transactions that were deemed as being for personal use. Pugh was arrested on Tuesday and released on a $5,000 bond.
