Andrew McKay gave us a look inside the entire year of a farmer in North Escambia County. Ryan Jenkins is a cotton and peanut farmer and did a weekly segment every Monday discussing not only harvesting and planting, but land rent, wildlife habitat, storm water attenuation and how it affects crops, acreage and distribution in North West Florida. Andrew visited Jenkins Farms and did ride alongs on the tractor and “nut buggy” and let everyone know to thank our farmers (local and otherwise) for clothing and feeding us and our children.
