GULF BREEZE SHOOTING COULD BE STAND YOUR GROUND CASE — David Wayne
Gulf Breeze, FL (Newsradio 92.3) — Deputies in Santa Rosa County say a shooting on Seaspray Court in Gulf Breeze over the weekend appears to be a stand-your-ground case.
“Him being charged with attempted murder of aggravated battery probably won’t occur,” Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johson tells Channel 3. Although he does say charges are possible for other things found during the investigation.
Deputies say the person who was shot came to the home to start an altercation with the homeowner and was shot through the front door. That person was taken to the hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.
