GAETZ, AOC TEAMING UP ON ‘RESTORING FAITH IN GOVERNMENT ACT”
Congressman Matt Gaetz is teaming up with Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in introducing a bill that would block members of Congress and their families from trading stock. It’s called the Restoring Faith in Government Act. In a statement, Gaetz says “members of Congress are spending their time trading futures instead of securing the future of our fellow Americans”. Similar efforts in Congress have failed in the past, however, some high-profile probes into alleged insider trading have shed more light on the issue.
