HUSBAND AND WIFE KILLED IN FOLEY DOMESTIC INCIDENT — David Wayne
Foley, AL (Newsradio 92.3) — A domestic violence incident in Foley left a husband and wife dead over the weekend. Baldwin County deputies say it happened on Saturday night at a home on Greenway Drive in Foley. The suspect was identified as Scott Blackwell — deputies say they were initially called to a domestic disturbance where Blackwell was acting strange and was armed with a pistol. Blackwell reportedly became violent and ended up shooting his wife Cindy. Another family member then shot and killed the man. Deputies say that the family member was acting in defense of the victim and won’t be charged. Both Scott and Cindy Blackwell were killed in the incident.
