Florida State Representative Anthony Sabatini (R-Lake) has filed two bills in the legislature regarding guns.
HB 273: Carrying of Firearms would eliminate concealed carry permits and allow anyone who is legally allowed to own a firearm to carry it concealed in Florida. It would continue to allow applicants to receive permits for the purposes of using reciprocity agreements to concealed carry in other states.
HB 6001: Licenses to Carry Concealed Weapons or Firearms would eliminate the ban on carrying a concealed weapon on college and university campuses.
