FWC: LICENSE-FREE FISHING IS THIS WEEKEND
This weekend, it’s a chance to reel in some fish if you don’t have a license. Florida Fish and Wildlife is opening Florida freshwater to license-free fishing days. That’ll be on Saturday and Sunday, April 1st and 2nd. FWC says on these days only, the fishing license requirement is waived for all recreational anglers, including residents and non-residents. All other rules, including seasons, bag and size limits still apply.
