FIRE AT HOBBS MIDDLE SCHOOL IN MILTON — Steve Taylor
Milton, FL (NewsRadio 92-3) — There was a fire at Hobbs Middle School in Milton earlier today, which caused students to be evacuated from the building. Santa Rosa County officials tell Newsradio that the fire started in a bathroom, causing heavy smoke to flow into the hallway, and was put out by 8:49 am. It reportedly caused minimal damage. The school district says all students and staff are currently safe and accounted for. The Fire Marshal is investigating, but so far there’s no word on how it started.
