FHP TROOP A RECOGNIZED FOR RESCUING HUMAN TRAFFICKING VICTIM
Members of our local Florida Highway Patrol troop are being recognized for their efforts in rescuing a 5 year-old human trafficking victim following a car chase in Okaloosa County. On Tuesday, Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody honored Corporal Jacob Moore and Troopers Ethan Ellerbee, Matthew Davis, and Ronald Khune. The FHP investigation revealed that the suspect had transported the child from South Florida to Okaloosa County in order to coerce the victim into sex work and creating child pornography.
